Affirmation from Supporters:
“Volunteering at Dignity House has been inspiring for me as I have been allowed to heal and comfort those with the same comfort I have received from God (2Cor 1:3-4). I have also been greatly inspired by the girls’ testimonies of what God has done in their lives. Their stories of the mountains they have climbed have become words in the pages of my own survival guide (Morgan Harper Nichols). I look forward to each time I come to hear how good God is and what He is doing in their lives.” H.G.
“There are not enough transitional homes available. It is so meaningful and rare to have a faith-based home available for women to go to after treatment, and start to learn to live independently with supports. This is so needed as watching your child on the road to recovery from meth is long and takes a few tries. Perseverance, faith and loving people are all needed. More stage-two homes would make it better for the transition back. Thank you.” L.S. (a parent)
“I’ve been involved for 1.5 years. Dignity House has given me a whole new – and heightened – respect. It’s all about relationships; for women who have complex trauma, it’s often hard to relate. There is love and acceptance and no judgement. The presence and interaction with the women show positive work with new hope, new possibilities, fresh starts – all of which transcend with the love of Jesus. I want to encourage you for the challenging and valuable work you are doing. It’s a privilege to work with all of you. Thank you.” D.G.
