Nancy Born is the Executive Director of Dignity House, a position she began in December 2023. As the daughter of Pastor Keith Eberhard, Nancy was raised with a strong foundation in service and faith. She brings considerable experience working with adults with disabilities, mental health illnesses, co-occurring disorders, addictions, and trauma.
Nancy and her husband provided home-based care for adults with disabilities for seven years, mentoring them towards independence. She also served as Director of Community Based Services, where she oversaw the development and management of multiple support programs and day services throughout Winnipeg.
Following the COVID pandemic and the birth of her son, Nancy felt called to change direction. In the fall of 2022, she joined Dignity House as their Programming and Outreach Manager. Outside of her professional life, Nancy has been married to her husband Jason for 13 years, and they have a 2-year-old son named Hartley. The family enjoys spending time outdoors and visiting their relatives in the city. Nancy is an avid reader and has participated in multiple mission trips throughout the world, demonstrating her heart for the vulnerable. She is passionate about reflecting God’s love and grace to others.
