Darlene Goertzen has been a CPA, CA for over 15 years. She brings to the board experience from several finance leadership roles with both public and private companies. Darlene is passionate about volunteering with several charities and is honored to be part of an organization that helps women find healing, growth and independence.
Sherri Dyck brings to the board her background as a dually licensed registered psychiatric nurse and licensed practical nurse, and a focus on the mental health and well-being of the women we serve. Grounded in her Christian faith, she is passionate about spiritual and emotional healing, and has a particular interest in survivors of trauma. Sherri is currently pursuing her Masters of Psychiatric Nursing while teaching in the Psychiatric Nursing Program at Brandon University. When not working or studying, she enjoys photography, reading, embroidery, being outside, spending time with friends, and volunteering in various capacities.
Janalyn brings to the board 14 years experience with Adult & Teen Challenge, most recently as the Executive Director and ex-officio board member of Adult & Teen Challenge in British Columbia for 6 years. Janalyn has a passion for the hurting and broken, excited to see them put their faith in Jesus and live completely free to follow Him. Janalyn currently serves part-time as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Adult & Teen Challenge Society of British Columbia and she also works part-time as the Next Generation Coordinator at Bethel Church in Selkirk. When introduced to Dignity House, Janalyn jumped at the chance to serve on the board. When not working, Janalyn enjoys walking her two dogs, Blue & Roxy. She also enjoys swimming and visiting with her family.
